| EBL honours women entrepreneurs |

Eastern Bank Limited and Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) honoured women entrepreneurs with BWCCI-EBL Progressive Award 2012 at a function held at Institute of Diploma Engineers in the city on May 29, 2012.
GM Quader, Minister for Commerce, handed over the awards to seven entrepreneurs from seven divisions of the country. They are Minara Chowdhury of Sylhet, Mnowara Khatun of Khulna, Kaniz Fatema of Chittagong, Masuma Khanam of Barisal, Tahrima Begum of Rajshahi, Fatema Yasmin of Rangpur and Kamrunnahar Anu of Dhaka.
Farzana Rashid, Staff Reporter, Kaler Kantho and Golam Kadir Rabu, Staff Reporter, ATN News were honoured. Shahana Quader received Best Women Client award.
Present on the occasion, among others, were Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO, Eastern Bank Limited, Selima Ahmad, President, Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
