| EBL opens 60th branch at DEPZ |

Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) has opened its 60th branch at DEPZ near the capital city today, 26 June, 2012. The new branch of the bank located at Mazid Tower of Baipail, Ashulia has been equipped with modern facilities to provide fast & quality banking services to customers.
Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director & CEO, EBL formally inaugurated the branch at a simple ceremony. Muklesur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Maj Md. Abdus Salam, psc, (Retd.), Head of Administration & Security, Ziaul Karim, Head of Brand & Communication, Ashraf-Uz-Zaman, Head of Branch Operation & Support, Md. Rafiql Islam, Head of Dhaka Zone-1, Mehbub Benazir, Head of Dhaka Zone-2, Irfan Islam, Senior Manager, Brand & Communication of EBL along with local dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
EBL plans to open 8 more branches in various parts of the country during the current year.
