Priority Terms & Conditions

General Terms

As an EBL Priority Customer, the customer hereby agrees to be bound by the following Terms and conditions, which at Bank's discretion, may change from time to time upon giving me a prior notice.

1. Eligibility Criteria

As an EBL Priority Customer, the customer hereby agrees to be bound by the following Terms and conditions, which at Bank's discretion, may change from time to time upon giving me a prior notice.

  • To remain eligible after joining, the customer must maintain cumulative minimum monthly average Current/Saving deposit account balance of BDT 5.0 million or total monthly average deposit relationship of BDT 7.5 million. The mentioned amount can to be kept in BDT or equivalent of foreign currency or a combination of both foreign and local currency. EBL has the discretion to change the above criteria at any point.
  • EBL can set any other criteria as it chooses to determine Priority Customers under Special Priority Segment.
  • the customer will adhere to any other criteria as determined and duly communicated by EBL from time to time.

 

2. Benefits and Preferred pricing

  • As per Bank's discretion the customer is entitled to certain benefits and preferred pricing structure.
  • EBL reserves the right to amend or withdraw Priority benefits and preferred pricing at any time.

 

3. Credit Pricing

As per Bank's discretion I the customer is entitled to preferential credit pricing on selected Loan Products; EBL reserves the right to amend or withdraw it at any time.

 

4. Fees and Charges

  • All fees and charges will be as per the Priority Schedule of charges which is subject to change as per bank’s discretion.
  • The Priority Schedule of charges must be read in conjunction with Consumer Schedule of charges detailed for every product.

 

5. Cancellation of Priority Service

  • The customer has the authority to terminate any or all the priority banking facilities; this termination will be effective only when the bank receives the notice of termination which is confirmed by the customer.
  • The bank can cancel all priority banking facilities which is available to the customer if he/she fails to maintain the minimum balance requirement for three consecutive months.
  • The bank can cancel all priority banking facilities which is available to the customer without assigning any other reason or without notifying him/her at any time at its absolute discretion.
  • Upon the death or bankruptcy of the customer, all priority banking facilities shall be deemed to have been automatically terminated or cancelled.

 

Please note:

  • These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with terms and conditions detailed for every product.
  • EBL Priority Banking is only available to customers while they continue to be eligible for the proposition.
  • In the event that customers cease to be eligible for EBL Priority Banking, their EBL Account Relationships (for all products) will automatically be converted to a standard account and will be subject to normal fees and charges as detailed in "Schedule of Charges".
  • EBL may at its discretion and for any purpose (including for the purpose of fraud prevention, Audit, the provision of services by any third party, debt collection, or if required by any Competent Government and regulatory body) disclose any information, details or data Relating to the me/us or my/our transactions to any local authorities, Bangladesh Bank, Government bodies, judicial bodies in accordance to any requirement of any provision of Law and order of any court of law.
