Anis Ahmed is the Founder and Group CEO of MGH Group, a Singapore-headquartered diversified conglomerate with operations spanning 26 countries. The Group operates across multiple sectors, including integrated supply chain solutions for global healthcare, fashion, automotive and electronics brands, inland container terminals, total cargo management (TCM) for low-cost carriers (LCC), travel commerce for airlines, cross-border freight trains, trucking, satellite fulfilment center (SFC) operations, FM radio stations, food & beverage retail, and retail & commercial banking.

Mr. Ahmed has a strong interest in investing into innovative, bootstrapped startup ventures and has supported emerging platforms such as Obhai.

He serves as a member of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Board of Directors of EBL.

Mr. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Arkansas State University, USA.

Together with his spouse, Suhana Ahmed, he co-founded the Suhana & Anis Ahmed Foundation (SAAF), which focuses on delivering mobile preventative healthcare services in Bangladesh, including glaucoma and cancer screening for young and middle-aged populations. Over the past nine years, the Foundation has collaborated closely with the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) to facilitate repatriation of Bangladeshi nationals from overseas. It also fully supports a 31-bed Pediatric Hematology and Oncology ward at Bangladesh Medical University and has undertaken comprehensive support initiatives for 268 victims of 2024 July Uprising, encompassing their medical care, rehabilitation, career development, and reintegration into normal life.
