Mr. Zahidul Haque brings over 26 years of distinguished experience in Information and Communication Technology and the Banking sector. Since joining Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) in 2011, he has demonstrated exemplary leadership across multiple strategic roles within the organization.

As Chief Information and Technology Officer, Mr. Haque oversees the Bank's technology infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation and operational excellence. His comprehensive understanding of banking operations stems from his progressive career at EBL, where he previously served as Head of Alternative Distribution Channels, Head of Digital Banking & Payments, and Head of Liability and Wealth Management. This diverse experience has equipped him with a unique perspective that bridges technology and business strategy.

Mr. Haque holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing Management from IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His BBA was earned through a distinguished joint degree program with Assumption University (ABAC), Bangkok, Thailand.
