With over 23 years of banking experience at local and multinational banks, Syed Zulkar Nayen currently serves as the Head of Business at Eastern Bank PLC. He oversees critical portfolios such as Asset, Liability, and Collection within the core Retail & SME Business sectors. His responsibilities also extend to managing diverse business channels, including branch network, Priority and Women Banking, Payroll Banking, and Agent Banking.

Starting his career at HSBC Bangladesh, he climbed the ranks within the Personal Financial Services Division demonstrating his exceptional business acumen. He joined EBL in 2007 making his mark in various roles, successfully integrating the SME Business with the Branch Network in 2017.

A Post graduate in Management with a professional degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), he has actively participated in numerous training programs, workshops, seminars, and conferences, both at home and abroad.
