Mastercard Spend & Win Campaign
EBL & Mastercard are delighted to announce Winter Spend & Win Campaign celebrating the upcoming traveling season for all EBL Mastercard-branded cards. The campaign is aimed to promote spends on EBL cards for retail purchases by rewarding the most frequent users.
The campaign details are given below:
The campaign duration is from November, 16 2017 to January, 15, 2018 (60 days)
Cardholders of EBL Mastercard-branded cards are expected to use the Card during the campaign period for at least four (4) transactions for a minimum value of either BDT 1,000 or USD 20 for any personal expense (i.e. commercial spent will not be eligible) at physical or eCommerce merchants.
Split or multiple transactions at the same merchant location within the same day will not be eligible; & only one transaction will be counted.
There will be Prizes for the most frequent card users in the 'Highest Frequency of Use' category, where the Grand Prize Winner will win a ROMAN HOLIDAY (i.e. an 'All-Expenses Paid' trip of 4 nights and 5 days for a couple to Rome). Lots of other exciting Prizes will be given to the top scoring Mastercard Cardholders; which includes Travel Packages to exotic destinations, LED TV, Mobile Phones, Wrist Watches, Dinner Coupons and Gift Vouchers or any other prize deemed fit by Mastercard.
Each purchase made using an EBL Mastercard-branded card will earn points as follow:
3 Points for an Overseas Retail Transaction of USD $20 or above on any EBL Mastercard-branded Credit, Debit or Prepaid Card
2 Points for an Domestic Retail Transaction of BDT 1,000 or above on any EBL Mastercard-branded Credit, Debit or Prepaid Card
The winners will be selected based on maximum points scored with frequency as the primary criteria. In cases where 2 or more EBL Mastercard Cardholders score the same number of points, the winner will be decided on the basis of the higher transaction value. In the event the transaction value is also identical for 2 or more EBL Mastercard Cardholders, the winner will be decided on the basis of who made the transaction earlier.
Mastercard will conduct, implement and manage the Campaign itself and will be responsible for the Gifts to be procured for the winners of the Campaign through its nominated agency.
Any permanent or temporary employee of Mastercard or the participating issuers, Advertising Agency or any concerned vendors are not allowed to participate in this contest.
