Eastern Bank PLC has donated blankets to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, for distribution among the distressed people of the country ahead of winter.   

Chairman of Eastern Bank PLC Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury handed over a token blanket to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at an event held at Ganabhaban in the capital on Friday (10 November).

The donation was made as part of the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. 

Managing Director & CEO of EBL Ali Reza Iftekhar was also present at the handover ceremony.
