The ISO 27001:2013 certificate has been conferred to EBL for its compliance with Information Security Management System (ISMS), which is an international risk management framework.

Md. Towfiqul Arif, Head of Certification, Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) Private Limited handed over the certificate to Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director & CEO of EBL at the bank head office at 100 Gulshan Avenue on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

Mohammad Golam Kibria, Founder & CEO, iota Consulting BD, Zahidul Haque Head of IT, S M Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Head of ICCD, Ziaul Karim Head of Communications & External Affairs and Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad Head of IT Security & Compliance of EBL and other senior executives of both the organizations were present at the certificate handover ceremony.
