Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) has won three awards for its performance in the product innovation and cards business from VISA.

EBL won the awards in three categories - Excellence in Product Innovation, Excellence in E-commerce Acquiring Business and Excellence in Cross-Border Business for the year 2019-2020 from VISA.

The award ceremony was held through an online Webinar program on Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Commenting on the award, Head of Retail & SME Banking of EBL M. Khorshed Anowar said: “In this COVID-19 affected economy, these achievements would not have been possible without relentless work of all the colleagues. This recognition from VISA shows our business strength and the product innovation in the cards business.”

EBL also been awarded by VISA in 2019, with the “Excellence in Prepaid Card Business 2018-2019.”
