Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) has entered into a bancassurance agreement with Pioneer Insurance Company Limited, facilitating EBL customers to access Pioneer Insurance's products directly through the bank. This collaboration operates under the Bancassurance Guideline of Bangladesh Bank and IDRA.

Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL, and Syed Shahriyar Ahsan, Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Insurance Company signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a ceremony ceremony held at the Bank’s head office in Dhaka today.

EBL DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking M. Khorshed Anowar, Head of Business Syed Zulkar Nayen, Head of Liability and Wealth Management Sarmin Atik ; Pioneer Insurance Company DMDs S.M. Mizanur Rahman and S.M. Jasim Uddin, Assistant Managing Director Md. Zakir Hossain were present on the occasion.
