EBL Edu Loan

Primary Features:

  • Minimum age 25 years for parents & 22 years for applicants at the time of application
  • Maximum age 65 years/retirement age (whichever is earlier) for salaried and 65 years for Businessman/Landlords/Professional Segment at the time of loan maturity
  • Loan Amount:
    • Minimum BDT 1,00,000 - Maximum BDT 40,00,000 (unsecured)
    • Minimum BDT 1,00,000 - Maximum BDT 25,00,000 (secured)  
  • Repayment Tenure: Minimum 12 months - Maximum 60 months  
  • One personal guarantee for salaried employee, professional, land Lord/lady and two personal guarantees for businessperson
  • Early, full and partial settlement allowed at any point of time

  • Processing fee as per EBL Schedule of Charges

 

Mandatory Documents for all

  • Clear photocopy of National ID Card
  • Clear and recent lab print photographs (2 copies)
  • Copy of e-TIN Certificate and latest tax return acknowledgement receipt
  • EBL may ask for any relevant documents if necessary
  • All applicable fees will be as per EBL Schedule of Charges

 

Eligibility and Other requirements

*For Salaried Executives

  • Minimum Net Income Required: BDT 50,000 per month
  • Length of Job Experience: Minimum 2 years (for parents). At least 6 months with present employer (Offer letter and release letter from previous employer to prove length of service)
  • Other Requirements
    • Salary certificate/Letter of Introduction/Payslip as per EBL format
    • Bank statement for the last 6 months
    • Office ID copy

*For Self-employed/Professionals

  • Minimum Gross Monthly Income: BDT 1,00,000
  • Length of Experience: Minimum 3 years of practice in present profession (Certificate of professional degree and certificate of membership from professional body for proof of 3-year practice)
  • Other requirements
    • Bank statement for the last 12 months
    • Office ID copy
    • Updated professional certificate

*For Businessmen

  • Minimum Gross Monthly Income: BDT 1,00,000
  • Length of Business Experience: Minimum 3 years of business experience
  • Other requirements
    • Trade license copy of last 3 years (Latest and inception)
    • Memorandum and Articles of Association, latest Schedule X and XII (for limited company)
    • Registered Partnership Deed (for partnership business)
    • Personal & company statement for the last 12 months
    • Business Card/ Office ID

*For Land Owners

  • Minimum Gross Monthly Income: BDT 1,00,000
  • Other requirements
    • Registered Sale Deed/Ownership Deed in the name of present owner
    • Rent or Lease Agreement of house/property
    • Mutation
    • Latest land development tax (Khajna) certificate.
    • Registered partition deed if the property is jointly owned
    • Bank statement for the last 12 months
